I’m still pinching myself after my recent visit to Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate in Cape Town. This stunning estate exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was charmed by the beautiful scenery and the estate’s resident stars – the adorable runner ducks! Watching them waddle to and from work, munching on pests in the vineyards, was a delight.

A Foodie’s Paradise
The food at Vergenoegd Löw was incredible! I indulged in a long, lazy lunch at Clara’s Barn, their fine dining restaurant, paired with a glass of bubbly. The wine tasting was a highlight, and I ended up ordering a bottle to enjoy during sunset. The views were simply breathtaking!
Luxurious Accommodations
After a day of wine drinking, I retreated to one of their luxurious cottages, complete with a heated pool. It was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. And, if you’re looking for a treat, the spa is a must-visit for a rejuvenating massage.
Autumn Bliss
Visiting in autumn was perfect. The weather was mild, and the estate was peaceful. I enjoyed leisurely walks around the farm, spotting animals and taking in the scenery. And, oh, the farm breakfasts! Savoring a delicious meal under the golden morning light was the perfect way to start the day.
If you’re looking for a unique experience in Cape Town, Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate is a must-visit. I’m already planning my next trip back!
